About Our Classes

Masks may be required while in the class and building.

If you are interested in learning about bladesmithing, we’ve set up an extremely well-equipped shop for you to learn in. We offer a variety of classes from an introductory level through more advanced students all open to the public. This is a great way to get familiar with what we do, and to get hands-on experience under the eyes of an experienced skilled smith.

Public Classes

Due to inflation we will be raising the price of our basic classes from $185 to $200 starting on September 1st, 2025.  Other classes will also increase in cost proportionally.

You can also join our Facebook group, Dragon’s Breath Classroom. The majority of our available class times are also listed there, and it is a great place to ask questions or leave comments.

Private Classes

Many people enjoy the experience of working with an instructor with a group of friends, and the best way to set up such courses is to contact us directly. We can schedule Private Classes ranging up to 14 students. Groups larger than 7 students require two instructors, however, so may be more complicated to schedule!

To schedule a private class, contact us. At the present time, we are not accepting additional single or two-person tutorials due to an excessive workload.

Payment/Cancellation Policy

Payment is due upon registration and your spot will not be reserved until payment has been received in full.

  • Cancellations with 14 days or less are non-transferable (but may be granted to another eligible student) and non-refundable.
  • Classes canceled by Dragons Breath forge due to bad weather or instructor absence will be rescheduled or refunded.
