This is a great class for those just getting into the craft, or those looking for a fairly short class with a focus on utility. Space for 6 students.

Tomahawks/Small Axes: In this class the students will learn the basics of forging, heat treating, and finishing a small axe. This will include a lesson on drifting the axe socket. This is perfect for the beginner looking to get into the craft or a more experienced knifemaker looking to try something a little different. Space for 6 students.

Chef’s Knives: Students will forge out and finish a high-carbon steel chef’s knife. After heat treating and grinding these blades will be fitted in wood handles. The best deal for the chef looking to create their own custom high-performance knife at a bargain price. Space for 6 students.

Damascus Fighting Knives: In this class students will be provided a topographic pattern damascus blank, which they will forge out into a curved fighting blade. After heat treating and grinding these blades will be fitted in wood or antler handles. Polishing and etching will bring out the damascus patterns in these deadly knives. Space for 6 students.

Damascus Friction Folding Knives: In this class students will be provided a twisted damascus with a high layer edge bar blank, which they will forge out into a pocket-sized blade. After heat treating and grinding, these blades will be fitted in bronze folder handles. Polishing and etching will bring out the damascus patterns in these deadly knives. Space for 6 students.
